This rose is a climbing sport of the very successful bush 'Blackberry Nip'.
It has large purple blooms which are a slightly larger than that of the bush rose. The flowers come on long stems making it ideal for picking. The fragrance is heavily. It grows into a strong vigorous climber producing plenty of basal growth. Foliage is a very unusual, but attractive, silvery grey.
